To maximize print quality, your media must be handled and stored carefully.

The printer may be harmed by contaminated or dirty material, which will also result in imperfections in the printed image (voids, streaks, discoloration, compromise the adhesive, etc.).



The following three fundamental media types are supported by printers:



continuous (receipt, etc.) without markers to indicate the length of the print,

Media that has been marked (with black lines, marks, notches, or holes) to specify the print length

Labeling media that employs the sensor to see the start and finish of the labels on the roll through the media backing (liner).
